Hey folks,

Just wanted to send out an update on doc sprints for August. Emma and
Jennifer have volunteered to run weekly IRC sprints for the rest of
the month. I have a block up on the group page (htpp://
groups.drupal.org/documentation-team) and I will make event nodes for
each sprint each week (we don't have recurring events on g.d.o). So
what we have on schedule for the rest of August is:

- Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7 PM EDT - find your time: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?month=8&day=11&year=2009&hour=19&min=0&sec=0&p1=419
- Wednesdays at 10 AM PDT (1 PM EDT) - find your time: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?month=8&day=12&year=2009&hour=10&min=0&sec=0&p1=234

All sprints are held in the #drupal-docs IRC channel on the Freenode
network. We'll be focusing on the items listed at http://drupal.org/node/540308
, but any and all doc work/questions are welcome during the sprints.

Thanks to everyone for the work done so far and to Emma and Jennifer
for volunteering to organize things a bit. If anyone would like to run
sprints other days/times, just let the list know and I will add them
to g.d.o.

Just a note regarding Thursday's sprint: Unless the schedule changes
again, it looks as though drupal.org is having a scheduled downtime
for the first half hour of Thursday's sprint. So we might need to
start 1/2 hour late. See:

Yes. This week, as well as the 3 "Documentation in Drupal 7 Core"
sprints happening, we do also have the Friday meeting (I think the
subject of the meeting is what we need to get done in the Handbook for
Drupal 7). Busy time!
